New York City is loved for all the right reasons. From the shining lights of Times Square to the quaint walk over the Brooklyn Bridge, this is one city that has endless things to offer. NYC cannot be called a cheap city to be honest, but if you get the NYC CityPASS, you can explore the city better in those three days. The NYC CityPASS gives you free access to attractions like American Museum of Natural History, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island and The Empire State Building. Did you know that there are more than 80 different museums in NYC? Now that we are done with the basic jibber-jabber, here are some of the experiences you cannot afford to miss.
Don’t miss the food
There are some really unique restaurants in New York City, and we recommend that you visit at least a few. Jazz clubs, bowling arenas and other fine dining restaurants offer a whole range of food choices, and it doesn’t have to be expensive. If you are in mood to try some Italian food, go to Bleeker Street instead of Little Italy. The idea is to try the local food, and beyond those fine dining restaurants (which are definitely worth splurging on), you can also consider pizza slice on the go!
Head to Central Park
No matter whether you are a fan of parks or not, you have to enjoy the experience of Central Park, which is an urban park that offers all sorts of experiences. From enjoying a picnic with the family to checking some of the live concerts and events, Central Park is full of action, and there are even amusement attractions. It can take hours to cover the entire park that’s spread over a huge area.
Take the Staten Island ferry
A trip to Staten Island on a ferry is an incredible experience, and you can get some really stunning views of the Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan Skyline. The best part? Well, the ferry is absolutely free! It takes around 25 minutes one way, but trust us that the experience is worth the time, and yes, if you have the time, take a ferry ride in the evening.
Broadway shows and musicals in NYC can be grand, big-budget events, and many plays even feature some of the most loved Hollywood stars now and then. Head to Times Square for the experience, and you can buy tickets at a discount on the same day at the TKTS booth.
